PERMANENT RESIDENT INVESTOR STATUS
The Forestry Law, "Ley Forestal, Reglamento a la Ley Forestal, Article #70" of Costa Rica provides for those individuals who invest a minimum of US $100,000 and provide the necessary paperwork the ability to obtain their status.
THESE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN THE STATUS OF
PERMANENT RESIDENT INVESTOR
THROUGH OUR SERVICES
Each person whose name appears on the application must have a valid passport.
Each person must have a birth certificate.
Each person must have a certificate of good conduct from their local police department (where applicant has resided for past six months).
Marriage certificate (if married).
If the applicant has previously changed nationality, a certificate of naturalization must be translated and presented.
A Certificate of Investment reflecting a US $100,000.00 investment has been made in our approved TEAK REFORESTATION project.
8 passport size pictures required....all matte finish. All black & white, 4 front view and 4 profile pictures of each individual on the application.
Upon the approval of the residency application, $300.00 is to be deposited in Costa Rica with the National Immigration Council.
Documents listed must be authenticated by the Costa Rican Embassy or Consulate closest to where the documents were issued. A "Certificate of Permanent Residency" will be issued in Costa Rica in Spanish, and will have the accounting seal (as required by Immigration) affixed properly. Passports will be copied prior to application being submitted to Immigration.
